What we collect

• Your email address, when you join the list.
• Your answers, if you tap them after joining: how many hours a week your agent would run with the lid closed, which agents you run, and who you're buying for.
• How you found us: the tags in the link you clicked (for example, which post or ad), a referral code if a friend sent you, the website that linked you here, and the page you landed on.
• Which price you saw. Today everyone sees the same price. If we test prices later, visitors may see different prices at random, and we record which one you saw so we can compare them.
• Your pre-order, if you place one. Checkout runs on Shopify, which takes the payment and gives us your name, email, shipping address, what you ordered and the amount, so we can ship it and refund it if you ask. We never see or store your card number. The Pre-order button sends Shopify a short code with the price you saw and the ad that brought you (plus your referral code and email, if you joined the list), so your order shows them. Our site counts your click, and from Shopify's notice of each new order it keeps only the order number, that code and the country it ships to.
• Your country, worked out from your connection by our hosting provider. We don't record your precise location.
• Visit counts: visits and checkout clicks per day, per page, per source, per ad and per price. These counts aren't tied to you, and we don't use cookies or store IP addresses to make them.

What stays in your browser

The site saves a few small notes in your browser, not cookies: which price you were shown, so it stays the same when you come back; a random code for this browser, which goes with you to checkout so an order can be matched to the ad that brought you; how you found us and which price you saw when you clicked Pre-order; that you've joined, with your referral code, so we don't ask again; and that you've ordered, if you have. Clearing your browser data removes them.

What we use it for

• To ship your order, email you about it, and email launch news if you joined the list. We won't send you anything unrelated to Possum.
• To learn which posts, ads, creators and prices bring people here, so we spend our small budget well.
• To refund your pre-order when you ask, or if the launch is called off.
• To decide what to build first.

What we don't do

• We don't sell or rent your email address or your order details.
• We don't use advertising cookies or tracking pixels on this site today. If we add them for ads, we'll update this page first.

Where it's stored

The list is stored with Cloudflare, which hosts this site. Payments, and the name and address on each order, are handled by Shopify. When we start sending launch emails we'll use an email service to deliver them, and we'll name it here.

Your choices

Every email we send has an unsubscribe link. To see, change or delete what we hold about you, email hello@trypossum.com and we'll take care of it.

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
